1969 Dodge Coronet Super Bee
Description
Based on the Coronet, The Super Bee was produced from 68-70. It was Dodges low-priced powerful muscle car that was basically a rebadged version of the Plymouth Roadrunner. The “Super Bee” name was derived on the basis that the body style was a “B” body designation or Chryslers mid sized car line. With a heavy duty suspension and only three powerful engine choices offered it was truly a Muscle car that meant business. This magnificent single family owned Super Bee from new is a true head turner with its optional twin-scooped “Ramcharger” air induction hood and the very rare optional “Spring Special” which was a flat black painted hood scoops makes this car stand out from the rest. This Super Bee was purchased new at the Dodge City dealership in Milwaukee. It received new rear quarter panels and a new interior. It is offered with its original engine and transmission that were both re-built at the time of restoration. The re-build along with a mild cam, reverse valve body, staller in the transmission and upgraded exhaust makes this a very fun and powerful car to drive.
