1967 Lincoln Continental Convertible
Description
A four-door convertible? With Suicide doors? Sure, said Lincoln and immediately it was a hit both then and now. The Continental was already in its fourth generation by 1961 and would be built until 1969. Some cosmetic and mechanical changes along with size would change throughout the time, but the overall design of the power disappearing soft top would remain steady. A technological marvel of the time, even for me watching it now never gets old. 1967 would mark the final year for the convertible with only 2276 units being produced and would be the heaviest passenger car ever sold by FMC weighing in at over 5,700 lbs. This particular stunner has had a full mechanical, electrical and cosmetic restoration over the last few years even a brand new top and interior. This big beaut starts as it should, shifts, brakes and goes down the road with some commanding. We are talking fuel system, brakes, suspension, hoses, belts, electrical, some cosmetics, top function and top itself, interior and more. This is a fun rig! These are highly collectable and super fun to drive. Summer is here!
