GM in 1955 sold two completely different truck designs….The old body style which was the same body that had been produced since 1947 and the all new body called the Task Force. This might be the biggest body change difference from one year let alone the same year. They were also offered with optional power steering, power brakes and V8 engines. Also, a industry first was the wrap around windshields and wrap around rear windows for the Deluxe models. The chrome, brite work, windows, seals etc look fabulous. The engine is a 1968 Chevrolet 350 Cubic Inch V8 mated to a Automatic trans. With A/C . The heat, vents and lights work and this thing goes down the road so nicely. It starts, sounds and idles better than new. The interior and bed has been done nicely with great attention to detail. This is not a truck that has been filled with bondo and resprayed, it is metal with with the underside looking just as nice.
